It’s May 1st and we haven’t updated this since April 5th. It hasn’t been a very manly month apparently!!! In all honesty I have been bogged down with other things that trumped writing some quality content on this site. Sadly, the other things aren’t manly at all so I could not in good faith share them with the rest of the manly world!
I am going to take a moment and post a poll, hopefully it will help produce some more quality content of the site and give you, the reader, a little more of what you would want to see.
Is there anything more manly than watching other people get punched in the face? We here at Manertainment are huge fans of the Hollywood fight scenes, so here is a collection of some of the worst ones ever produced!!!
Tonight I bring to you the art of crafting a well made aging vessel for your favorite smokes. I am talking about a Cooler-Dor. It is part beer cooler and part humidor. The tools you need are readily at hand. Buy a large cooler that has a drain valve (this regulates pressure and humidity). Buy an electric humidor for a 500 capacity humidor. You can find them at WWW.CigarsInternational.com You can also find your favorite brands there for a good price. Follow the directions on the humidor when it arrives. A nice feature, but not necessary, are aging trays. You can measure out the recess of your cooler and buy them to fit at the web site previously mentioned. Lastly, buy some good cigars. Go nuts. When I was in the Marine Corps I would buy them every where I went. Buy them locally, support your local cigar store. Buy them on the road. If you collect, hit cigar clubs and Cigar Aficionado Magazine for cigar-fest information. I have amassed over 1500 cigars, at last count, and I love them all. If you have friends that are “social smokers” include them in the mix. Offer them a nice cigar, but certainly not a 20 – 50 stick. With your new humidor you can even have private stocks from friends for when they come over. My last recommendation… get a nice steam trunk to put your Cooler-Dor into. I have an antique Marine Corps foot locker on the way. (They are more steam trunks than places to store your socks!) Thank you all for you attention and I look forward to your inspiring new ideas. – The Surgeon
Here in the world of Manertainment, we try not to get too fancy. The most metrosexual I get is if I decide to actually trim my beard, or if I am not wearing a baseball cap but rather styling my hair. We wear suits only when necessary, but when necessary we wear those damn things well!
We do however, enjoy wearing jeans, shorts, t-shirts, and our futures are so bright, we’ve gotta wear shades… and like Corey Hart, we even wear them at night!
With that out of the way, here are some lazy-awesome, Manertainment approved styles to get you through your Summer in style –
Love this! Must… purchase…
Love this too! Must… purchase… also!
These are so lazy the offer negative ankle support!
I need these to do my beach rap sessions…
This thing is FUNKY but doesn’t look like it makes telling time exactly easy!
